Adiuvo the call centre located on Baker’s Road, Charleville has been based here for the last year now. They decided to locate here in Charleville because of the competitive rates.

They are expanding and looking for new recruits to add to the 16 people already employed at the facility, which is located next to the Charleville Chamber Enterprise Centre at Baker’s Road.

The out of hours call and emergency handling service for the UK property sector is operated from the Charleville office and the company has just opened an office in O’Connell Street in Limerick. The Charleville centre handles calls from letting agents, block managers and residents in properties in the U.K., and in turn alerts whatever service that is required to attend the emergency.

Adiuvo, which is a Latin word meaning to help or assist, is the only specialized call handling service for the property management industry and handles approximately 250,000 properties throughout the U.K. The company is independently owned and run by ex-property managers and use only property professionals to answer calls.

The business is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and its core work is taking out of hours calls on behalf of property management clients and instructing contractors to respond to the needs of residents as they arise. The call centre takes approximately 2500 calls a week at present with an expected rise to 3000 over the busier winter period. The company handle the emergency calls from letting agents, block managers and residents and have a number of plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, boiler engineers and general maintenance personnel on their books to cope with any emergency being experienced by their clients on a twenty-four hour basis.

Adiuvo has been awarded the industry’s Best Service Provider of the Year 2014 and was highly commended in this year’s competition by News on the Block Property Management Company.

Adiuvo Associate Ms Rhoda O’Sullivan says they are actively recruiting customer service and call handlers as a similar service may soon be launched to the general public in Ireland and as such are always looking for experienced property staff and especially anyone with a background in management (
