Rowland and Damian Lenihan first became an agent for the ‘3 Network’ when they opened Phones Made Easy in KIlmallock in 2008. From there, they moved to the Parkway Shopping Centre, a shop Rowland ran until 2015. In 2012 an opportunity arouse to open a shop in their native Charleville and build a solid base for the future and Phones Made Easy hasn’t looked back since.
Situated on the Main Street at the junction of Smiths Road, the shop is in an ideal business location. The premises is right in the heart of the town and is directly across the road from Charleville Credit Union. Setting up in Charleville in 2012 was an easy decision, and Rowland credits the huge level of footfall on the Main Street from Charleville people as well as the hinterland of Ballyhea, Newtown, Dromina, Milford, Bruree, Effin and Kilmallock as the main contributing factor. Added to that, there is passing trade along the N20 between Cork and Limerick, which recently included Cork hurling legend Donal O Grady and Munster and Ireland rugby player Simon Zebo.
